After many years we are happy to inform you of our success at the Brazilian National and State Championship.
FS MODELSPORT MZ returned to electric RC after 3 years in the off-road racing scene. Our driver Felipe Franceschi won the Sao Paulo State after 7 rounds of intense battle with other drivers.
At the final round Felipe needed to TQ and win because the state championship gives a point for TQâ ing each round. He needs that point, and win 1st place and have his opponent get 3rd place. After a great round with the most competitive and fair racing, Felipe got his title and gave XRAY the Sao Paulo State Championship.
Round 7 was raced a week before our Brazilian Nationals, and Felipe was again challenging his opponent but this time for the Brazilian 2010 title. Saturday had a lot of rain so every heat and final had to be raced on Sunday, leaving no time for practice or adjustments. We used the same set-up as we used at the State Championship, and luckily round 7 of the Brazilian Nationals was at the same track with a different layout and we already knew grip and basic set-up for the track. Sunday with sunny, so the heats started early with no time to spare. Felipe started well. After 5 heats he got TQ and got the advantage over his opponents.

After 3 finals, Felipe Franceschi won the Brazilian title at hat trick for him: he TQâ™d and won the 3 finals. The great news was that he was using a XRAY T2â™009 so now he would get the T3 2011 to defend his national title and state title.
